New AutoTheme Extras from Spidean!

Several new Extras for all platforms have been released for the AutoTheme HTML Theme System! Add these to the large number of Extras already included with AutoTheme and you have amazing control over your site and its presentation.

Also, a new AutoURLs specifically for PHP-Nuke is available. This new AutoURLs rewrites virtually every PHP-Nuke URL into a Search Engine Optimized URL. It also strips the sid from the forum URLs!

Random Theme: This Extra shows a random AutoTheme theme.

Server Theme: This Extra allows you to set themes based upon the server name or domain name that your site is accessed from.

AutoImages: This Extra automagically replaces any images in your page with the same image from your theme if it exists.

These Extras are compatible with AT-Lite and the commercial AutoTheme.

Get them now in Spidean Downloads!

Read on for more explanations of these hot new Extras...

Thanks!

Random Theme

This Extra shows a random AutoTheme theme from those available in your themes/ directory. You can also choose whether to change each visiting user's custom theme as well as site theme.

Server Theme

This Extra allows you to set themes based upon the server name or domain name that your site is accessed from. For example:

You can set a specific theme if someone accesses your site at 'www.spidean.com' and another theme if they access your site at 'spidean.mckenzies.net'. You can also just use part of the name, such as 'www' for 'www.spidean.com' or 'mckenzies' for 'spidean.mckenzies.net'. In this example you would not want to use just 'spidean' because both domain names contain spidean and either may match. For each theme you can also choose whether to change each visiting user's custom theme as well as site theme.

AutoImages

This Extra automagically replaces any images in your page with the same image from your theme if it exists. The Extra will first look in the image language directory of your theme for an image and if not found it will look in the image directory of your theme. The directory structure should be the same as the original image. At present, only images whose paths begin with images or modules are replaced. For example:

If this image is in your page (normally in an article):
images/global/print.gif

Then the Extra will look for and replace with the following if found:
- themes/YOURTHEME/images/YOURLANG/global/print.gif
- themes/YOURTHEME/images/global/print.gif

If this image is in your page (normally in an article in the Linux Topic):
images/topics/linux.gif

Then the Extra will look for and replace with the following if found:
- themes/YOURTHEME/images/YOURLANG/topics/linux.gif
- themes/YOURTHEME/images/topics/linux.gif

If this image is in your page (image used for Configure Comments on the My Account page):
images/menu/comments.gif

Then the Extra will look for and replace with the following if found:
- themes/YOURTHEME/images/YOURLANG/menu/comments.gif
- themes/YOURTHEME/images/menu/comments.gif

If this image is in your page (image used for Download categories):
modules/Downloads/images/folder_icon.gif

Then the Extra will look for and replace with the following if found:
- themes/YOURTHEME/images/YOURLANG/modules/Downloads/folder_icon.gif
- themes/YOURTHEME/images/modules/Downloads/folder_icon.gif
