Strange problems trying to run your mod!

Have display offsite pages yes
have URL security checked off,

All i get is a blank page, if i then check offsite pages no, i get sorry, only local pages may be displayed.

Any ideas what i might be doing wrong, i have spent some time now trying to get this mod to work with all sorts of different arrangement and still cant get it running smoothly.

Please help,

Rik

Is Autoresize yes or no?
Do you have a Vertical size set? To what?
Send me a URL.

I get a 404 error in the iframe when using that url. I can't really tell what the issue is, it is working here:

http://test.mckenzies.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Pos tWrap&file=index&page=http://www.byttehandel.net/guestbook/view.php

There was a post about this issue earlier, the source of your page shows this for the iframe:

<iframe src="http://1"

Seems like something with the server config, either how it is handeling post vars or some mod_rewrite rule or something like that.

Warning: Failed opening 'modules/PostWrap/.php' for inclusion (include_path='') in /home/mckenzies/www/sites/modules.php on line 16

So is there anything i can do, or do i have to use that other wrap mod, cant remember what it was called, saw it somewhere, are you sure there nothing you can think of to help Shawn.

Weird !

Try to put URL in the setting URL in POstWarp as this:

/guestbook/view.php maybe it may work or use aliases such as what you put in
Guestbook ( if you put alises such as this then ) use http://www.byttehandel.net/bar/modules.php?op=modload&n ame=PostWrap&file=index&page=Guestbook
to see it if work...
Hope it does let s crosse our finger

PN issue. Try and use phpmyadmin or whatever you use to drop the postwrap table from your db. Then reinstall postwrap.

This is the first issue where someone was unable to get it working. I still feel that its a server config problem, as the &page=http://www.byttehandel.net/guestbook/v iew.php is being replaced by &page=http://1.

Create a php file containing:

<?php
phpinfo();
?>

And send me the URL to it.

worked great on 2 different virtuals for weeks. now one works, one yields the now infamous blank page - no errors. deleted dir, removed, dropped tables, re-installed - same behavior.

pn .714
php 4.2.2
WAMP (Apache 1.3)

see my other thread for addresses...

I FIXED IT * I FIXED IT * I FIXED IT !!

Found the diff between the 2 pn .714 sites where postwrap WOULD work

and the one I've struggled to make work <again> for a week.

Turns out the bum site had not been patched with the .714 patch whereas the others had.

Patched it, and presto! Working Postwrap!! thanks for suffering through this. Hope it helps someone else.
