I'm running a static page in the center of my Nuke 7.5 with Autotheme and using Blue047. I'd like to be able to modify the CSS for that one page. I'm assuming that I would create a new custom page of some sort -- but for modifying the CSS is that done by making a custom theme.html and then using that? I'm not finding the CSS there (or anywhere for that matter).

Thanks!

It depends on how you display the static page (module, some other way) the easiest would be:

Goto Admin > AutoTheme > Blue047 > Custom Pages and add a custom page. The after the page and block templates before the colors there is a dropdown for Style Sheet. The file needs to be in the style directory under your theme.

Hi Shawn,

I am running the static page another way (not as a module). I'm not sure if I know the technical side of it (and probably not a great idea to post it here anyway) but I'd be happy to send you a link so that you can see how it posts.

Regarding your below, I'm getting hung up and can't find where you go to add a Custom Page. Here's where I've gotten to: Nuke Admin -->AutoTheme --> and at this point options available are AutoThemes, Commands, Extras. I assume that it would be AutoThemes as the other two don't seem appropriate. So here is where I am then: Nuke Admin -->AutoTheme -->AutoThemes. And once on that page it shows 047blue as the them, and available actions are either Preview or Configure, and there is no option for Custom Pages.

If I go to Nuke Admin -->AutoTheme -->AutoThemes -->Configure, then I'm offered the same options found earlier on the other pages (General, Custom Modules, AutoBlocks, Commands, Theme Information). If I go from there to Custom Modules (is it possible that you meant that by Custom Pages?), I see options to Add a Custom Module, but that doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for (since I'm not using a module?). And there is no option there anyway for adding a Custom Page.

So I'm lost.

I'll have to see how you're using the static page - and you seem to be using an older version of AutoTheme. The current free one is .87 and the commercial one is 1.77.

I just checked the version and it is showing 1.7. I'm hesitant to update though as when I first did the install I had someone work through the theme itself as there were a few things that needed to be modified. Would updating to AT 1.77 just impact AT and not the 047blue theme at all?

Think that it is safe showing this as an example of how the static is being used:

Added: I got the "how-to" for setting up a static center section from Sun. I see that their forum page is now deleted, but I still have the original source code for a module and the script to make it work.

I think that I now understand why I didn't get anywhere with your answer to another post about modifying banner ads (http://www.spidean.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=SpideanForums&f ile=viewthread&tid=5076) as I assume that one must have been referring to the updated AT also.

Is there a way to PM or EM you to ask a question?

PHP-Nuke has 3 main parts: the home page (index.php), the admin (admin.php), modules (modules.php). static.php is a custom file so there would have to be some custom coding to get this to work. I received your email and will respond.

Thanks!
