Hi Shawn. Just wondered if you can tell us if Autotheme will work ok on
Zikula 1.2, and if not, if you plan to do so?
I am using Autotheme with Zikula 1.1.x just fine (if there is any
pathology, I haven't found a show stopper yet ) as long as
it is running on UNIX/Apache type systems rather than Windows (IIS). I
gave up on Windows hosting as you will gather from my previous postings
regarding CGI errors.
But Zikula 1.2 has some significant Core/Tech changes. From what I can
gather, most (if not all) modules need some modifications, and I would
guess that would include Autotheme?
I follow the threads on http://groups.google.com/group/zikula-discussions/topics which discuss these things. I can't pretend I understand the
implications of defines/gettext etc, but they obviously are significant.
I haven't upgraded my Zikula Sites to 1.2 yet, but will be doing at some
point. I am hoping that I will not lose the ability to use Autotheme.
Thanks again for providing a humane theme system for semi-geeks like me

Cheers,
Chris.

Hi Shawn, any chance of a comment?
Sorry to push, but the implications of Autotheme not working for Zikula 1.2
or above are *very* significant for me. That is if it will not work and
there is no intention to upgrade Autotheme to make it work if needed, I
have a shit load of work learning how to do the same things using another
system (which will be almost starting from scratch), and the earlier I know
the better. I am crossing my fingers that it will work...
All the best,
Chris |

I tried installing Autotheme on Zikula 1.2.2 and it failed with the
following error messages shown in the Admin Module CP:
Error! Invalid module state transition.
Error! Could not change module state.
So it would seem that Autotheme does not work with Zikula above 1.x?
Any chance you can take a look at it?
From what I can glean from the Zikula Community, it may not be too gory a
job to make whatever changes are necessary to a Module, but it's way past
my competance. However, I think that version 1.3 of Zikula may be a more
significant Core change.
I'd appreciate it if you can let us know whether Autotheme will continue to
be supported for the Zikula developments or not. At least then we would
know where we stand (even if we do not like it), and can then get on with
sorting our future out. I would like to stick with Autotheme on Zikula,
but if it's the end of the road, then it's the end of the road. It's the
not knowing...
Thanks again. |

I am having this error too! Using Zikula 1.2.6 and AT Lite .87
On clicking Install button, get the following error:
Error! Invalid module state transition.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----
Error! Could not change module state.
Having just purchased an AT theme, very grateful if you can let me know
what the best fix is??
Many thanks |

Unfortunately AutoTheme is not compatible with Zikula 1.2.x. I will refund
your theme payment.
Thanks!
