AutoTheme 0.87 (Zikula)
Zikula 1.1.0
I thought I would have a go with AT Lite on a Zikula installation (Postnuke
support is going to end, so best be prepared...)
All seemed to go as normal.
However, I am having some issues in the Admin Panel in particular, with
some functions not seeming to work. I am not sure IF it is an Autotheme
issue or not, but perhaps someone can possibly shed some light on what the
issue(s) might be?
The theme is one I built from scratch (I used it as a bit of learning and
practice, as normally used to modifying existing themes).
A particular example of an issue I am having relates to editing the
'Profile' (index.php?module=Profile). I select the 'Personal Info', and
then choose 'Edit Personal Info'.
The screen displays the Profile entries, and I can enter new data. I then
click 'OK'. The screen refreshes with the message "Done! Personal info
saved", but the entry(s) have not been changed. I looked at the MySQL
Table(s) and nothing has been saved.
I then saw the IE error message (when slecting Edit), and the details
are:
Line: 281
Char: 3
Error: 'Event' is undefined
Code: 0
URL: http://my.domain.com/index.php?module=Profile&func=modi
fy
Followed by:
Line: 359
Char: 4
Error: 'Validation' is undefined
Code: 0
URL: http://my.domain.com/index.php?module=Profile&func=modi
fy
Could this be related to Autotheme? I only say this because when I change
the Theme to one of the default Zikula Themes supplied with the
installation, there doesn't seem to be a problem. If it's not an Autotheme
issue, I need not bother you more, but any clues would be appreciated.
Oh, and I noticed that I am getting a (similar) error while I am making
this post on your Forum. it says:
Line: 231
Char: 1
Error: 'that' is undefined
Code: 0
URL: http://www.spidean.com/SpideanForumspost.newtopic-fid-80.ph
tml
Could this be an issue with my own PC setup in some way? Sorry to trouble
you if it's not something to do with Autotheme, but in good old Sherlock
Holmes style, we have to eliminate all the impossibles until what is left
is the truth
Thanks, and cheers.

Problem fixed. It turned out to be a setting in the Zikula System Settings
not set.
The IE errors still come up as before, but they are obviously not part of
this problem.

OK thanks! I was going to pick through this today, but if you have it
settled then let us know the setting please so others can find the solution
if they have this problem.
Thanks!

Hi Shawn,
Sure; it's something I think could easily be missed (well I did) by someone
who is well used to working with Postnuke (me again) and moving to
Zikula.
In the Admin - System - Settings there is an entry:
'Module used for managing user profiles'
By default (on mine) this was set to 'None'
There's a drop-down which can be used to select the module to be used
(depending on what is installed I guess). I presume this facilitates third
party modules as the default 'Profile' manager. I don't think this Module
is installed with the Basic Core Distribution of Zikula, but with the Full
Distribution, or included with the Value Add-ons Distribution.
After changing this to 'Profile' (available in the drop-down list), it
worked (editing Personal Info).
I still get the IE Status error(s) (on both the Zikula site and this Forum,
but only when posting/replying). Curious, but doesn't *seem* to have any
adverse effects as far as I can see.
