In your help file you tell people to FTP upload the entire contents to
your CMS root directory (accept any directory overwrite warnings. These
directories are not being overwritten. The warnings are generated because
the directory already exists, but this is fine.) The problem with this
statement (and the lament of my own experience that lasted all of last
night) is that in reality what you are trying to tell people is that they
need to put each individual folder in the unzipped file into the
corresponding folder in the CMS root directory. Had you stated the
information in this way, it might have saved me about 8 hours of trying to
decipher your encoded help file. Your program works wonderfully now that I
have it working and I thank you very much for your efforts. Please take my
revision suggestions for your help file into consideration as it may help
other users in the future to avoid the pitfall that befell me last night.
Thank you for your time. |
