Ok,

I installed PHP-Nuke 8.0

all was working fine. I was able to use my Forums Modules Administration with no problem. Then I go and install AT 177 and go to use my Forums Modules Administration and get a

[ There seems that PHP-Nuke isn't installed yet.
(The values in config.php file are the default ones)

You can proceed with the web installation now. ]

What information do I need to change in my config.php file to make this work ?

I would guess that it is the modules/Forums/config.php file that I would need to up date ? or is it in my main Nuke config.php file that needs up dating ?

Please help !!

Ps. the Forums are still working in the home page for the site.

Hi,

AutoTheme is not doing this, unless you overwrote a file of some sort. The forum admin is not even a part of PHP-Nuke, it displays in its own framed window totally separate from PHP-Nuke.

I looked at your forum and it says "This board has no forums". So why not, "proceed with the web installation now" as it suggests?

I just installed PHP-Nuke 8, installed AutoTheme, changed the site theme to AutoTheme and then entered the Forum admin on my test box.

Thanks!

Ok,

In your folder/directory of AT 1.77 you have:

Admin - Directory
htm.htaccess
html.htaccess
images - directory
modules - directory
phtml.htaccess
themes - directory

I up loaded all to my www-root directory via FTP as what the install instruction say to do.

This is all I did and then I get no Forums Modules Administration access just the message I posted. If I try to do the web-install as the message say to do, it give me nothing, no page found. Why should I have to do a install if it was already installed and working to begin with. As for there being no forum I have not set up any topics as of yet as I am trying to get the back end set up and working. Should all the contents of the AT 1.77 folder be put into the Nuke modules directory ?

PS.

" The forum admin is not even a part of PHP-Nuke, it displays in its own framed window totally separate from PHP-Nuke. "

Yes I know this, but under the Nuke admin set up page you have a forums admin button. that will bring you to the forums framed window admin section. This is what is not working for me now as it did before I installed AT.

Please reinstall PHP-Nuke (do not install AutoTheme) and show me a working Forums admin. Send me admin username and password as well as FTP username and password and I'll install AutoTheme for you.

'autotheme AT mckenzies DOT net'

Thanks!

Shawn,

Sorry for doubting you....

I went and re-installed everything and found out the the Nuke main gonfig.php file was getting corrupted some how when I up loaded the AT files..... So I just moved the Nuke config.php file out of the directory before up loading the At files and then put the config.php file back in after up load was completed... All works now....

once again thanks for your time...
