Hi Shawn,

Happy New Year! I hope you had a nice Christmas too.

Quick question, I installed CRE and AT1.77 for a client. We're now working on getting the individual unique meta tags, i.e., description/keywords/title defined for each page. However, it doesn't seem to be working and I have tried to track down the issue but am not sure where to look and whether AT is causing the problem versus something within CRE. I am hoping you are able to shed some light on the issue and any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Vanessa

Shawn, any help with this? Where are the functions defined in AT for CRE?

Sorry Vanessa I just saw this.

Where are you trying to define the title/tags/description, in AutoTheme or somewhere in CRE?

Also, what is BOF?

Hey Shawn,

I changed the default defines in modules/autotheme/includes/cre/atcommands -- so now there are at least releveant meta tags/description etc for the site.

BOF - is an additional module added by CRE Header Tags Generator tool -- it allows you to define meta tags for each item in the catalog. But it isn't working and I tried to figure out a hack but kept running into problems. So as I said I settled for changing the file itself -- you know I really hate OSC/CRE because it is spaghetti code but it fit the need for them so I set it up.

I've already explained the situation to them and I don't know if the benefits/costs make sense to figure it out. But if you have any ideas it would be appreciated.

BTW: How are you doing? Staying busy? How's business?

V
