Hi again,
Using AT Lite .87 and PN .7.6.2 -
The tutorial entitled AT-Tutorial-Part3_AT-Lite.pdf shows a Block Display
screen capture unlike anything I can see anywhere (with zeroes and ones for
on and off), PLUS the only Custom blocks I can add are a from a v.
restricted list, that includes, for example, "Language", "Online" etc. I
want to add a custom block corresponding to PN's "Generic menu block".
Does this mean by AT Lite is messed up and shd be re-installed?
Tks

The tutorial is a little outdated. There is a Custom Blocks link under
Default Pages and Custom Pages. The list is restrictive because it is only
showing you blocks that are available. You still create blocks in PN
Blocks Admin, then you use Custom Blocks to assign a specific template to
that block.

Great - thanks a lot. I was wondering to what extent AT and PN need to work
together with blocks - sometimes the boundaries between the two are not
that easy to find in the config!
But I had more or less arrived at that conclusion myself, so it's a relief
to hear it confirmed.
Thanks again

You create the actual block, the PN Block and it's content in the PN Blocks
admin. From then on out if you are using an AutoTheme you can define
custom templates for each of the blocks and define when it is displayed,
where it is displayed etc for any page on your site.
