Hello, I am brand new to this stuff, I dont have any experience with
websites at all, so i dont know if i am going to be able to do this but i
am willing to learn.
I want to make a website for my World of Warcraft guild. I have a host at
Invision Power Services. It says it has PHP Nuke installed. so i purchased
a Theme at Themeportals.com, I ws told by Themeportals that i needed at
least ATlite to make it work so i DL it and unzipped it and uploaded it to
the what i think is the correct root directory on my host (public_html) I
followed all the ATlite install directions and read the userguide in the
docs folder, i followed the instruction to the T, but something is not
right.
I hope its just something simple. but like i said i know nothing about this
stuff. Is there a complete guide or a how to somewhere that can get me up
and running?
I admit i have no clue what i am doing. So far all i get is few purple and
green colors like this site.
www.dodgamers.com/bane/themes/AutoTheme/admin.html I would really like
some help, at least get pointed in the right direction. thanks

I don't see PHPNuke on your site?
All I see is a flash site, where is PHPNuke installed?

PHPNuke is a Content Management system. You don't edit and upload content,
you post stories /news directory on the site in the admin panel.
The other parts of that site are modules that get installed in the
system.

Hey thanks for the help.. im getting the hang of it now.
check out what i got so far
my website: http://www.baneguild.net
I had alot of the usual problems with PHP/MySQL like the admin loop bug,
and a bad register URL in the email, but i got a wide variety of answers
on various forums/how-to's.
I do have more questions and concerns like, Im looking for good WoW mods
and addons to make it better, I havent been able to find a good calendar. I
am also thinking of spiffyjr's PHPRaid. anyone with tips/advice I would
appreciate, but i think this stuff is more appropriate for the
portalthemes or nukecops forums .
anyway thanks again for the help mars. you rock!
