Hi. I am the (volunteer) contact manager for a nonprofit dedicated to providing information about Constitutional rights. The chief issues we're concerned with on this site are illegal detention, war crimes and torture. We are setting up a web site to provide the public with legal and other documents related to those topics -- some of which have never been seen by the public before. The organization I am working with is a legal organization and quite respectable. This is information the U.S. public really needs to see, and it also has an intended audience of Congressional staffers, human rights organizations, attorneys, and the press. I have never done PHP-Nuke theme design. I have a logo and a layout -- very simple and understated, with a patriotic "feel". What I need is a volunteer template designer to help me turn the concept into reality. We are already uploading content, and we need the "look" as soon as possible. Like most nonprofits, we have virtually no money and all our resources are going into collecting the documents and preparing them for upload, as well as paying site hosting. I did download AT Lite, but found that I have read problems using it -- in large part because there's a steep learning curve for templates, but I think in part because I'm working on the Mac and none of the browsers available (Safari, Firefox, IE) seem to interact with AT very well.You wouldn't be paid, but your work would be seen by tens or perhaps hundreds of thousands of people (we anticipate great interest in the site), including Senators and Congressional representatives (we would of course give you attribution).
