Did you set the permissions on files correctly?
* CHMOD 777 modules/AutoTheme/autotheme.cfg
* CHMOD 777 modules/AutoTheme/_compile/
* CHMOD 777 modules/AutoTheme/_cache/
* CHMOD 777 themes/YOURTHEME/theme.cfg
* CHMOD 777 themes/

thank you for your reply, yes all the files and folders have been set with
correct permissions, even tried full permissions for all but still no joy.
thanks |

After double checking the file permisisions listed above...I note that
there is no /modules/autothemes/_cache folder, I don't suppose this is
makes much difference to our problem....does it. |

After further investigation it has been found that when the changes are
made in the configuration page using ie6 we get the CGI script error and no
amount of refreshing will make that disappear, also to note is that no
changes are applied.
But when the same process is followed using netscape 8, set to display like
ie, I receive the cgi error but the changes are applied and when I refresh
the browser the site is visable again.
Hope that makes sense, if anyonw has any thoughts on why this is happening
it would be most welcome. |
