Hello,
I belong to both the American Legion and VFW. I host a web site for each
as well as maintain them. We are using Post Nuke for both and I would like
to find a Theme for each to make them stand out a bit more than normal and
was wondering if one could be made, how much it would cost me (since I
donate the space, time to admin etc) for these two sites.
Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated. I use AT on a couple of my other
personal web sites and think it is great, would like to use it on these two
as well but need a proper theme for each.

They would be Local, I have www.legion127.org and setting up
www.vfwdist11.org now.
The legion (url above) is the local post to which I belong and the VFW (url
above) is being set up for the Washington State District 11 VFW which the
post I belong to (VFW) is one in District 11 (District 11 has 33
posts).
Just looking for something to make them stand out a bit from the "Standard
local posts" web sites out there.
Not many of these Org's have their own Distrcit web sites. I set one up
for the Fraternal Order of Eagles (district web site) and it appears we
were the first to have one International/national and has gotten some
notice. |

| Custom themeing usually runs frmo $150 to $500 depending upon the amount of
work involved. You might consider using a free theme or purchasing a
postnuke theme and changing the header images to something suitable for
your districts. Its really not as hard as you might think and you'd save a
lot of money. ____________________ Visit http://www.AutoThemes.com - Over 750 free and

Hi JS,
Thought about that, purchasing one I think will work and modifing it.... I
did this with the standard post nuke blue theme for another Non-Profit web
site and it turned out nice....
I just purchased Theme 423 for my personal gaming web site and have been
trying to figure out how to remove the "War Gaming Website" text from the
image (headder image) to add the Squad name instead.... I dont have a very
good Graphics editor, the only decent one I have is clsoe to 8 years old
(Micrografix Suite) and so far the removal of the embeded text isnt leaving
me with something I think looks good.
Anyway, as long as I do not have to get into modifing images "to much" it
would work. Was just looking for something (more so, an image) that would
reflect VFW or American Legion and still tied in with Military Service,
most of what I have seen on this site looks "Gamey" rather than RL. I'll
look more in depth at the other themes here and see if I can find something
that works.
Thanks for the suggestion and reply! |

Hi Dave,
Feel free to email me at warrick@autothemes.com for assistance. I don't
check these forums all that often. If you are having trouble replacing the
text in the psd, then I can help you out with that. ____________________ Visit
