Hi all,
Just found Nukewrap a few days ago and must say - wonderful script. Here
is what I am trying to do. I have a very large dart player website
darterz<dot>com. I also design sites for other top ranked pro
players. I use PHPNuke on each site. I have one standalone installation
of PHPBB that has subcategories for each player, along with a section for
my main website. It is stored on my main website, DarterZ. I am using
Wrap to link from wach site to the specified category of the corresponding
player for whom they are visiting their site. It works flawlessly. I am
able to maintain one forum across 5 different sites. People only have to
have ONE login and their post toals and such carry over from one site to
the next. Now, I am having one small problem that I know people are going
to be screaming about. Say for example you are one one of my player sites
- RayCarver180<dot>com. You look at one category and login and post
a message. If you try to switch categories and post to another one, you
have to login again. This happens each and every time you try to post.
PHPBB has a config setting for cookie server and I have it set to my main
site. The one the forums reside on... So I dont think the forums are
getting confused with users coming from different sites. Anybody have any
idea why it is loggin a person out eahc time NukeWrap is called? This
would be the last little tweak I need to have a wonderful community of 5
sites, all sharing one forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Very
nice work on the module. It has me looking into the other fine products
you offer. Kudos!
Mike

Not to be a wise-ass, but by not attempting to help any of these
lost souls out, I'd bet you're hurting your ability to sell some of your
other products. I for one, sometimes find help on a question valuable
enough that I am willing to pay to get the coder of the software to help me
out. You make some great products. But the lack of support has made me
hesitant to even consider your others. I never figured out an answer to my
first question and now, after loading 2.0, it doesn't work at all. I only
get _NOTUSERMSG, which is not defined in a language file. So now, it's
back to the drawing board - hoping that by paying a service, that I can get
a script to do what yours does and work properly. Well done with what you
have though. For those that just need to pull a static page in, your
product is great. A lifesaver to many. |

Sorry, there was a bug in the 2.0 zip. Please re-download it.
