Assuming the blocks are in your theme (if its a theme from autothemes.com they should be there), then create block content in the blocks admin panel. Assign the new blocks to the center position. Then go into autothemes admin, select the themes, select the *Homepage settings, then select block control. Switch the new blocks to Area 1, 2 or 3 for the top and 4, 5 or 6 for the bottom. Cheers!

I would just to follow-up here with a question. I already have the three blocks acreoss the top.. Area 1, 2, 3.. And I know that Area 4, 5, 6 is for the bottom middle. I would like to have three more blocks below the top ones. Is this possible? Basically, I want two top rows of three. And have News, and such populate below that.

Just add 7,8 and 9 under the 1,2 and 3. Then give them a template in admin and assign some blocks to those positions.

Thanks!

I'm new to autoblocks.. and am trying to follow the instructions above..

I've made the 3 center blocks in PN Blocks admin all assigned center (I've tried selecting area 1,2,3 as well)

In block control, I assigned the blocks as I needed under custom pages "hompage" which where I want the blocks to go.

I edited the theme settings for homepage and selected centerblock.html for areas center, area1, area2, area3 all enabled...

but no center block are showing up.. I cleared the cache as well..

did i miss something?

Thanks
-Iz

Yes, you need to add the correct tags to your theme template. Whichever one is used for the homepage. So if you want to show blocks in Area1, you add the [Area1-blocks] tag in the template.
