Ive just upgraded from .750 to .761 and the latest autotheme

I've noticed now that where by lefthand blocks are being displayed there is a </head> tag preceeding where the block is outputted.

I have 4 left blocks so that means 4 extra </head> tags!

I searched through the template files to see if there was anything wrong but all was OK.

then i did a full site search to see if i could find it anywhere in the sourcecode and found it in the Autotheme_compile folder:

code:
</head>
<div class="leftblock">
<div class="leftblocktitlecontainer">
<div class="leftblocktitle"><h6><?php echo $block["title"]; ?></h6></div>
</div>
<div id="menu">
<?php echo $block["content"]; ?>
</div>
</div>

<br />

Now i dont know why thats getting put in there. Any help would be appretiated.

Doesn't seem to fix my problem with this.

I'm not sure if it's always been going on, but I just noticed this happening with my 1.77 install. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks

Only of you have head tags in your block templates. They shouldn't be there.

Negative. No <head> anywhere in my block templates. I'd be more than glad to give you access in case you want to have a look. Just email me at my address used for this account.

OK, first, try to delete everything in _cache and _compile.

Nope, still there.

I'm specifically referring to this URL: http://www.arsnonline.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=S ections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=153 which uses theme.php as the template.

There are 2-3 extra </head>'s in there...way past where the real <head> ends.

Yes, and the source of that page also shows:

<!--
************************ AutoTheme 1.76 *************************
-->

Should be 1.77.

But when I go to http://www.arsnonline.com/admin.php?module=AutoTheme , it says 1.77 at the bottom. Any clue?

To be perfectly honest, I'm not even sure if this is a legit installation of AutoTheme. We had a third-party person originally design the site and I think he just used a copy of AutoTheme he was already using elsewhere. Nonetheless, I want this to be correct and legal. Can you tell me the best way to be legal and make sure everything is correct on my end? Thanks

Well maybe some of the files are mixed up. Only bug fixes in between 1.76 and 1.77 so maybe you have a mix of the different files. If you have the 1.77 zip, then just re-install. If the copy is legit, then the username that purchased will have access to the 1.77 category in Downloads and you can just download it there.

Thanks!
