Is there a way in autotheme to change the title tag of that page.
Or say im using a module: pagesetter, can u use the title of that article
in pagesetter in the titlebar at the top of the page?
Can i use the new titlehack found here: http://mods.postnuke.com/Article2666.html
With autotheme? |

Well i discovered that you can create a custom page for each page on your
site and then specify the title and meta keywords and description in there
but it is not really practicle if you have hundreds of pages. |

I will download the title hack module and have a look. Does it
automatically generate titles based on the module? I didn't think so.

quote: We deliver a pnRender
plugin to define a page title from within your module's
template.
This method obviously only works with modules using pnRender (like
Pagesetter,
pnForum, etc.). For these modules, this is the recommended method.
It would be cool if you could specify a field from the likes of
pagesetter.. say if you created a field 'description' to be able to input
that into meta-description.. i think thats what their aiming for PN 0.8 but
maybe autotheme could enable it? |

News inserts it automatically, or the core of PN does. Other modules
require code specific to each module.

thanks,
it would be really great if you can incorporate the title bar features for
other modules as well. |

A big step in the right direction would be the ability to either use AT
custom commands or native PHP to generate the page title, either in the
extra or in the template.
I've been messing around trying variations on this idea trying to get this
to work, but so far to no avail. Can it be done Shawn? |

Yes and no. It can be done, but it is not automagic like I would prefer.
You would need to code it specifically for each module. So then it is a
maintenance issue when new mods are requested etc.

Any news on the title page hack for AT. I'm using it with pagesetter and
would like to be able to increase their visibility with search engines and
the title-hack is an important feature.
Has anyone figured this one out? I'll keep looking and if I learn of
something I will let everyone know. ____________________ Designs4Nuke.com
