OK I have tried a variety of combinations prior to posting here. Basically
I cannot get the postwrap to work, if I keep the URL security enabled.
Here is what i have tried
Using the URL in the url security:
http://www.***/family/index.php?module=PostWrap&page=ch
at/flashchat.php
Alias sitechat
and using the URL
http://www.***/family/index.php?module=PostWrap&page=si
techat
I get a nice picutre of my entire site, in the center column of my site.
Ironically the site within my site states Sorry, this host is not
authorized to display pages here. So if I skip the alias call and go
directly with the URL:
http://www.****/family/index.php?module=PostWrap&page=c
hat/flashchat.php
I just get Sorry, this host is not authorized to display pages here.
So I tried just using the as url:
index.php?module=PostWrap&page=chat/flashchat.php
but this fails because PostWrap automatically sticks a http:// infront of
it. Which pretty much forces me to accept non local webpages. (can I fix
this through database modification?)
So next I try to make the whole url called by postwrap.
http://www.***/family/index.php?module=PostWrap&page=ht
tp://www.***/family/chat/flashchat.php Which i call sitechat3
when called via alias:
that pretty site in site business.
and when called by full url http://www.***/family/index.php?module=PostWrap&page=ht
tp://www.***/family/chat/flashchat.php
I get Sorry, this host i not authorized to display pages here....
I'm not sure what the problem is, but I would like to make use of enhanced
security. If you see that I am doing something stupid.. jsut let me know.
If there is something else going on, hey let me know that as well! Thanks
for the help.
Now if I disable URL security, and keep the local pages thing turned on...
I still cannot use
index.php?module=PostWrap&page=chat/flashchat.php
as postwrap calls it a non-local url.
However, and here is were things are really sweet. If I allow offsite
pages, and disable URL security... works like a dream! It is a very slick
module. Makes those hard to integrate programs display so nicely, but I
would like the security up a bit. So please show me where I am doing the
stupid thing, and thanks for the help!
