ok I feel so n00bafied.
I tried to install a simple member.php addon to my site. Now I swore it
would of been easy as I went to Block and edited the Main Menu and added a
Member Link containing the file member.php ; Now it seems to work but the
link doesn't open in the center of my website.
After much searching on postnuke forum I found out about PostWrap, after
reading the install.txt and searching this forum I still can't seem to be
able to add this link into my website.
I tried adding the link via PostWrap Module I entered the URL adress as http://narnia.lunarpages.com/modules.php?op=modload&nam
e=PostWrap&file=index&page=member.php ; then making the Members
alias as Member2 No go, not working
I then tried to go to the Main Menu Block and Edit the Main Menu and I
tried adding the title and url (
modules.php?op=modload&name=PostWrap&file=index&page=http://nar
nia.lunarpages.com/member.php ) and I get a " Sorry, this host is not
authorized to display pages here. "
what am I doing wrong? I am not sure if I'm doing this correctly. I just
wanted to make a new link on the Main menu. any help is greatly appreciated

First, If you add a URL and Alias then URL Security should be YES and the
URL should look like this: http://narnia.lunarpages.com/whereveritis/member.php
Alias: Member2
Then the link in the Main Menu would be:
http://narnia.lunarpages.com/modules.php?op=modload&nam
e=PostWrap&file=index&page=Member2
Second option, if you put this in your Main Menu:
http://narnia.lunarpages.com/modules.php?op=modload&nam
e=PostWrap&file=index&page=whereveritis/member.php
then URL Security needs to be NO.

thxs for the reply Shawn
ok so I tried option one first. ( I had a bit of confusion when you said
URL Security be YES, I first assumed this was an option but I really can't
find it, unless you mean in General "Compare URL against URL Security in
DataBase" to YES ) is this right?
or is this URL Security something different. Sorry for not understanding
the 1st time
I also tried option 2, but both give me error.php, I'll keep messing with
both options till I get the bugger to work. thxs again |

Yes, "Compare URL against URL Security in DataBase" in General. If this is
YES, then anything you wrap needs to be entered in the URL Security
section. If this is NO, then you can use option 2.
