Hi Everyone and Shawn,

After reading almost all the support forum issues, I am sure I am doing something wrong or have missed something somewhere.

Running with Postnuke .7.2.3. While I was looking desperately to make my home page central part just like www.postnuke.com blocks, I found some forum talking about postwrap. First things first, if I misunderstood postwrap then kindly let me know.

This is what I am looking for:
Small blocks in the central part of the home page. Just like in www.postnuke.com and in http://spidean.mckenzies.net/index.php?theme=AT-XP, we can see pnthemes, pn modules etc etc, just like that I want to have a) my individual topics displayed on my home page. I hope postwrap is the right one for doing this.

If yes, then this is what I did and I get nothing:

unzipped postwrap module in my module folder. From Admin, regenerated modules, initialized and instlaled and activated. Got the postwrap on my Admin panel

I am showing my default page as News: Should I change this? Even I change it to postwrap in the settings item of Admin panel, I just get a blank screen saying no link is selected to display. However, here is my settings:

Settings for PostWrap Admin Panel General

Display off-site pages NoYes

Use buffering of output before sending NoYes
Use compressed output NoYes

Allow input from browser address bar NoYes

Compare URL against URL Security in DataBase NoYes

Only for registered users NoYes
Add link for Open in new window NoYes
Use fixed title NoYes

Auto resize window NoYes
Height of viewing window in pixels

Only if Auto resize window = No, in which case this is the height of the content window.

Width of viewing window in pixels or percent If percent use %

Please let me know what am I doing wrong? Again, I am a non developer . Seeing postnuke site and growing php support with people like you , I am just making an entry to dev world. That is why I made this message this big and raw (a layman).

Thanks for your advice and great work you all. Keep it up.

If you just want to display different blocks on your homepage then use Nuclei Blocks and optionally AutoTheme (will make it easier).

You then read the docs to define more block areas (addtional besides left, center and right). Maybe make 2 areas called topleft and topright and call these in your theme wherever you want them to display.

Then go to admin/blocks and create blocks and assign them to these areas. I used the RSS block pointing to the backend.php for the pnMods and pnThemes.

FYI... PostWrap lets you display non PostNuke apps and pages inside of PostNuke.
