I have entered the url in the admin security with the same results
any ideas

Oh I'm using PostNuke version: 0.7.1 with encompass

Resolved this issue
In the postwrap admin under General

I was testing the script through the browser url window and the General setting was set to:

Allow input from browser address bar : No

Its now working under test and on reflection a good security feature.
