So... any more thoughts on autotheme for Mambo? The Performance Article (http://forum.mamboserver.com/showthread.php?t=11782) is still generating interest.

I use mdPro for my more complicated sites but I'm finding Mambo great for simpler sites and it seems easier for my general run of the mill users to understand and manage.

I downloaded it and gave it a brief look. The themeing would be easy, but the admin would require a lot of work. I'll test some things in the coming weeks and see.

I'll work on it as I have time, but all of the CMSs that I currently support are derivatives of PHP-Nuke so even though they may be very different, they are similar in the base architecture. Mambo is a totally different animal and will require totally different code.

Thanks!

Well, I realize this is not a support forum for MD-Pro however, it seems that some members use it and was wondering if you could tell me if I am suppose to insert a password to my Sqldb before I use the Install.php on MD-Pro? I got up to 70% on the install and I get this message?

_MAKE_DB_3
Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: NO) in /home/cellars2/public_html/mdprofreebies/pnadodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.ph p on line 262
Error connecting to db
Program: /home/cellars2/public_html/mdprofreebies/install/db.php - Line N.: 48
Database: md106
Error (1045) : Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: NO)

If I am suppose to enter my Password in a file somewhere could you give me an Idea of what the name of the file is? This is my first attempt at installing any CMS .
I have been using the auto-install on Fantistico feature on my server.

Any help will be greatly Appreicated.

The install page asks for your DB password just under the DB username field.
