It may be just me, but I can't get auto resize to work. I have auto resize
enabled both in the general PostWrap options, and in my URL description
under URL security. No matter what URL I call, it shows in a static size
window, and I see a vertical scrollbar.
I am using this in combination with AutoTheme.
Setting the size manually works just fine. I am running AutoTheme Beta 4,
PostWrap 2.1 (all downloaded on January 6th), PostNuke 0.7.2.3 with the
additional security patch released a couple of days ago, PHP 4.3.0, Apache
1.3.27, and MySQL 3.23.54.
Any ideas? |

Unfortunately, auto-resize only resizes to the height of your PN site,
meaning it is the height of the module area. There is no way right now to
auto-resize based on the content of the iframe (the wrapped page). This is
a limitation of the DOM, and in the case of IE it violates the
cross-frame-security measures.

This is odd, as all native PostNuke modules work just fine.
I'll give an example. I am using a custom frame that opens up around each
module. Say I click on "Members List" from the left navigation menu. A
new page opens up, including the top image, the left navigation menu, a big
frame that autoresizes vertically, depending on the amount of content. The
right-side blocks are not displayed. This is exactly the behavior I am
looking for in PostWrap. How is it different than the Members List module
(or any other PN module) in terms of auto resizing? Can PostWrap use the
same method of auto resizing that the other modules use?
Just a note -- I believe that in the default PN installation, all module
content is shown without a frame around it. In my case, I have a generic
frame that I use for the purpose. |

I am having the same exact problem and I would like the module to consider
the height of the content and autoadjust to fit it. Shawn, is there
anything else I can do to get rid of that scrollbar?
care to see it?

Unless you can modify the content that is wrapped, NO! If so I have some
code.
The DOM doesn't support this (believe me, I worked many, many, many....
many hours trying to get that to work), and even sent a mail to the W3C.
Did I say, MANY?

Hey Shawn,
Bringing this back to the top. Is it possible for you to either post this
code in the forum or email it to me? I have some custom offsite webcontent
that I am creating and would love to have it auto size the vertical to fit
correctly. |

take a look at this code too
Thanks. |

Theres another wrapper taht does resize content. Maybe could use their
method for this one? I really Really like all the features this one has
but need it to resize based on the input file. If anyone figures this out
please tell! |

Really? Do tell. Please Do you have
a link? Because even though I am incorporating PostWrap into many of my
sites, I still need this "very simple" functionality for the PostJumped to
home page.
That scroll bar stuff has got to go.
So if you've got the name of the product or a link to it that I can pick it
up I would really appreciate being able to check it out. |

Its called NukeWrapper and is found over on the postnuke.com site. As I
said it maximizes the page content but its not a module which is why I like
postwrap. Hope that helps! |

Aye, I don't care about the scrolling either, I just want it gone.
The ability to contain content into a frame is cool, but I need the
scrolling to be gone.
http://www.pandemonium.cc - Click on "Members"
If I turn on autoresize, it displays no content.
Shawn or anyone else, any ideas possibly? |

So... We need to change, as you say, "...the height of your PN site,
meaning it is the height of the module area."?
Can you show us how? And perhaps also provide that as an option in the next
verision of the module?

Hi Shawn,
Could you please post the code that can be included in the content in order
to get it to resize properly?
