Over the weekend I downloaded AT-Lite to use with our Postnuke site. Tried
some things with the tutorials and all seemed to be working fine. Later we
moved to using MDPro (which comes with AT-Lite, correct?) and now my
autotheme console no longer accepts changes that I try to make. (i.e., I
enter "General" and attempt to make a change to the bgcolor, click Save,
yet when I re-enter the change was not accepted.
Did the move to MDPro corrupt the Autotheme? Need to reinstall? Would
purchasing and installing the commercial version make the difference?
All help appreciated from this pn / mdpro / at newbie

Purchasing would definitely make a difference! 
But I think when you upgraded maybe some file permissions were changed.
CHMOD 777 theme.cfg in your theme dir.
