PHP-Nuke 7.9 (latest chatserv patches)
AT 1.77
I have an interesting problem that may be more to do with PHP-Nuke and its
implementation of phpBB (they call it nuketoBB) but someone here may have
come across it and solved it. Basically I have created a new style for the
built-in phpBB forums to match my AT theme but I cannot make it stick from
the phpBB profile. What I mean is the new style is correctly installed and
appears alongside the default subSilver in the dropdown options box for
phpBB styles. But it makes no difference to the forum style. If I set the
default style to my new style in the phpBB admin panel then it works, even
if I don't force it to overrule the "users" choice. But the weird thing is
I know the original method must work a little because even with subSilver
as the default style (not overriding the user choice) the phpBB admin
panel, member list module and private messages module all show the new
style. The only difference being the admin section of phpBB sets its own
cookie and the memberlist and private messages part of the phpBB are moved
out under the control of the CMS and its cookie but still use the phpBB
style.
So... why isn't the built-in phpBB forum correctly setting the cookie? I
even forced it in the MySQL database but it still uses the phpBB board
default. I have seen many and conflicting ideas on what the cookie fields
should be set to in the phpBB admin bit so that it is in harmony with the
PHP-Nuke cookie but none seem to work properly.
Any ideas?
