The backend.php is the one that came with PostNuke .762. You have to have text in your news for it to show up in the backend.php. I don't show news on my homepage, I just show a block that has the 5 most recent news titles.

I have some postnuke sites in which I dont add story to be displayed on the homepage. I have managed to get these story titles in my backend.php but somehow I cannot get the description. I have seen http://www.spidean.com/backend.php and thats exactly what I want (even you dont add text in the story lead-in section). Can you please share your backend.php with me?
