Again thanks for your reply mazsalleh

I played around with the settings, pulled in an external page like you suggested. Found that changing Fixed title to no, and auto resize to no brought complete success. I tried it for a localhost page and that worked too.

So thankyou for your suggestions by replying to my post. I would still like to know the reasons why Postwrap was not liking the options as they were set, but thereagain I have a result so maybe not.

One more thing. You are always mention Localhost as your URL. I'm not so sure, but I think Postwrap need absolut Domain URL's.

IF your URL is Localhost. Test Postwrap with a different URL. Any URL will do. Example try to pull google in, or this webpage here.

Usual I would say, set fix title to no. What you did

Only questions where did you set it?

If you set it in the URL serurity it should be fine. As this settings will override the general settings.

You might have to play with the settings.

Check also your settings in the Administration Menu for Autocompress. Make sure it is on NO.

Sorry that I can't help you further.

Thanks for your reply mazsalleh, you have made things a little clearer, just what I needed

I am making progress, albeit slowly, I still have not got a page displayed.
The first message I got was:-

Sorry, this host is not authorized to display pages here.

I fixed this but I cannot pinpoint the thing I did..... but I now get:-

The following content is from another site.
The preceeding content is from another site.

Is this a settings issue? Mine are

Display off-site pages? Yes
Allow input from browser address bar? Yes
Compare URLs against URL Security? Yes
Add link for Open in new window? No
Use fixed title? No
Auto-resize window? Yes

Any ideas anyone?......... gloomy day here in the UK!

In Url Security you have to asign an alias.

If you want to call the page you put the URL in the first field.

In your case: http://localhost/md107-RC2/studystuff2/index. htm

Now you asign an alias: lets say: stuff2

you save everything and can test it now with the URL:

http://localhost/md107-RC2/index.php?module=PostWrap&pa ge=stuff2

Hi
Read the docs (teachers are not necessarily good readers though!), using MDPro in a test environment for my school, using phpdev.

Postwrap initialsed OK first time, block created to call a test page from.

Using following code, page does not appear when test link appears in menu block, I know I must be looking at this coding from the wrong angle, so a fresh suggestion would be appreciated

URL
http://localhost/md107-RC2/modules.php?op=modload&name= Pos tWrap&file=index&page=http://localhost/md107-RC2/studystuff2/index. htm

Alias test

File is in www, mdpro folder, folder called studystuff, index.htm
At what point has my brain ceased to function?

Kind regards green9000 UK
